India; Resident in the United Kingdom since 1960 (still an
Indian national).
Economics graduate from
London University and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of England and Wales and of India.
Retired as partner in
Arthur Andersen (United Kingdom) in 1994 after 24 years with the
firm. (First Indian partner in the Firm worldwide). During this
period based in Europe, Middle East and India. Established the
Indian firm of Arthur Andersen in 1982 and ran it as managing
partner during the eighties. Wide international professional
experience over last forty years.
Currently, a professor
and an international consultant in strategic management and
international taxation. Professor in international tax planning
at the St Thomas University, Miami, Florida (USA). Author of
“Basic International Taxation” recently published in the United
Kingdom. Academic director and professor for the diploma course
organised by the Financial Services Promotion Agency in
Mauritius. Advisor to a wide range of international business and
government organisations (including Mauritius). Frequent speaker
and writer on international tax issues. He is also the
conference director of the leading conference on international
taxation which is held in Mumbai (Bombay) in India every
December since 1995.
Mentioned in the

annually since 1991.
